while walking along a Fort Mason pier with this same exact view of Ghirardelli Square in the distance, i was enjoying the kind of laugh that makes it hurt to stand up, and sharing it with two of the most important people in my life - a Love, and a Lovie.
i am happy to have one of my best of the best of friends in town for a visit. we spent a good hour alone sitting on a curb right outside of the Castro district catching up. all i could think about was how impossible it felt in that moment to feel more thankful than i already was to know such an amazing person. he never stops impressing and interesting me, never stops listening and understanding.
he is wonderful and my life feels wonderful with him in it.
